Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970. The band’s classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass guitar). Queen’s earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock.

Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara) was the lead singer, pianist, and songwriter of Queen. He was known for his powerful vocals, flamboyant stage persona, and songwriting ability. Mercury wrote many of Queen’s biggest hits, including “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Killer Queen”, “Somebody to Love”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.
